Hi – I’ve just emailed you back, but should anyone else be wondering the same thing I’ll repeat it here: where the pattern reads “Rows 9-12: Work in 4×1 rib” should in fact have been “Rows 8-12″, giving five rows of ribbing. I’ll get the pdf download corrected as soon as possible. :-)

Perfect! I’m just in the process of knitting up two pairs of Fetching Mitts. One pair for my sister in law, and one pair for my mother in law for Christmas and I want to make them a hat each too, so this is the ideal pattern! I’ll post pics of them on my Ravelry notebook once they’re done. Thanks ever so much for sharing!

Love the hat. I’m so fussy about knitted hats but this is the first one in ages that has appealed to me and I plan to start it ASAP.

I have yet to make fetching, but I think I’ll give it a go along with the hat and I’m going to send a link to my first secret pal to your blog because I think she’ll really enjoy it as well.
