Thank you – it’s nice to know that people go back and have a read sometimes :-) I’m glad you commented to let me know.

I think it would be worth giving meditation a try – after all, it’s a non-invasive thing, and if it doesn’t work for you, then you haven’t lost anything. And even if the actual meditation techniques aren’t your thing in the long run, then I’ve come to think that just taking the time to sit quietly by yourself, for yourself, for a short period every day or few days, is a useful and positive thing.

Hope it goes well for you :-)

Happy ICLW :-)

Oooh, I could answer that... but it would be a really really long comment! So I think I might go and write a whole post on the topic. :-)

Glad to know I'm not the only one! ;-) And hooray, I'm always happy to meet another knitter.

I haven't read that series, no - I missed out on a whole load of YA fiction because I was into spy stories and such from the age of 10, and skipped straight to raiding my parents' bookshelves! (And it's probably a good thing that I read those books at that age, since I'm pretty sure I'd throw them across the room in frustration with all the 1950's sexism now ;-) ) Would you recommend the Redwall series?

You're quite right, blogging is Seriously Business! *g* What I actually really like about IComLeavWe is that it's less strict than NaBloWriMo, for example. I like that too, but I can't always commit to it, and ICLW leaves you space to catch up the next day if you can't get all the commenting done. It's really cool that you're doing it anyway, despite missing the list this month - that's proper commitment!

Hi, thanks for dropping by. :-) Sounds like you have a bad case of "startitis" - it's something I suffer from too! *g* I've had to make a rule for myself that I'm not allowed to have more than eight projects on the go at once, or I completely lose track. Baby things are cute and fairly easy to actually finish, aren't they? I've made a few things for friends with little ones. I hope you get to knit for your own baby in the near future.

Geocaching is a lot of fun - I got started through hearing online friends talk about it. I thought I'd check the site out, and much to my surprise, there are loads of caches round here. Once I knew that, I couldn't resist!

I do spin my own yarn, yes, although I'm a relative newbie at it and not all that good! Of the fibres I've tried so far, I like merino the most, although I've just been spinning merino / tencel and that's been an interesting process seeing how the fibre translates into yarn. You really do start to notice the difference in the length of the different wool fibres when you're spinning. Every one is a bit different.
