Which is alright by me. I always liked Charlemagne, though I didn’t study him in as much depth as, say, the fascinating Catherine d’Medici. [Side note – the mother recently returned an entire suitcase full of my Renaissance History gumph to me. Shall have to go through it again sometime] Anyway, what else did I get…. Jesus was #14, William the Conqueror #18 (1066 R Us!), and then Adolf Hitler at #21 followed by Napoleon Bonaparte, Genghis Khan, Josef Stalin, and Mao Tse-Tung. Heh.
Oh god, what I am doing?! I have to go to bed. I’m so tired and I’ve got work in the morning. Fricking caffeinated painkillers….. I’m sure it’s all their fault.
