I’m not dead. Just reeeeeally really tired. I always thought that insomnia would actually be pretty good – you could stay awake longer, and get more stuff done. And maybe some people do get it like that, I dunno. However, I’m just finding it practically impossible to go to sleep, even though I feel beyond knackered. It’s ridiculous. I can’t accomplish anything much when I’m up cos my eyes are grainy and my brain’s all fuzzy, and I can’t sleep either, except for so lightly that I’m still half awake. It’s weird, actually, dreaming while being aware that I’m lying in bed. It’s also getting more and more frustrating, which probably isn’t helping overall. Still, at least I’ve got my appointment on Thursday – hopefully she’ll be able to sort me out. Not that I want more drugs. Feh. But maybe there’ll be something short term to get me back on track. *crosses fingers*

Anyhoo, I’m intending to go to work in the morning, so I shall go lay down again now. I am feeling verrrrrry sleeeeeeeepy. (is it working yet?…)

*sigh* Headache again. Stupid head.

*sigh* Headache again. Stupid head. Single again. Stupid men. Tuesday again. Doesn’t time fly? 1. Portland, Maine or Portland, Oregon? Never been to either one. Didn’t even know there were two, in fact. *g* 2. New York or New Jersey? Umm…. New Jersey, cos Bon Jovi come from there. 3. Van Gogh or Van Halen? … Continue reading “*sigh* Headache again. 1. Portland, Maine or Portland, Oregon?

Both? Maybe marginally Van Halen.
4. Bill Clinton or Bill Gates?

5. Leonardo daVinci or Leonardo DiCaprio?
Definitely daVinci. Yupyup.
6. “American Pie” or “American Idol”?
Ooo… dunno. Pop Idol was fun (haven’t seen the American version). But then, so was American Pie….
7. George W. Bush or Curious George?
Neither.
8. Billy Joel or Billy Idol?
Billy Idol!!! Heeeee.
9. Donny Osmond or Donald Duck?
Heheheh. The Duck wins by a feather. Oh, I just crack myself up. Or not.
10. Dr. Seuss or Dr. Kevorkian?
Don’t know who the second guy is, so, ummmm?

Friday night was Nada’s leaving

Friday night was Nada’s leaving do – I’d been to the doctors in the morning, and had totally forgotten that it was that day, so I didn’t have anything to change into, or any makeup or anything. But I went anyway, originally planning to just stay for one drink. However, since I was still awake and having fun, I stayed longer. My Dad had said he’d call me at 9pm to find out about the doctors and everything. So I rang him from the pub….
Me: Hi Dad, I’m still at the pub, so I won’t be back when you were going to call.
Dad: Oh, OK. I’ll call you when you get home, shall I?
Me: Well, I don’t know what time I will be home…
Dad: Alright, I’ll try calling at 11, and if you aren’t there, don’t answer, and I’ll call you again in the morning.
Me: Right. If I’m not in at 11, don’t ring me before 10am tomorrow.
Dad: OK, bye!

So the evening continued, and fun was had by all, I think. Sue had to stop drinking in case she died, or so she said, but I didn’t think she was that badly off. *g* After we left the office ‘local’, we meandered to a couple of other pubs in the old town, and then back again. Some of the guys went off clubbing then, but since I couldn’t persuade anyone else to go to Spiders, I made my way home. I got in at about 1am, where I discovered I had an answerphone message:
Dad-on-answerphone: Hi, it’s 11 o’clock, and you’re not back, so I’m off to bed. I’ll call you in the morning between 9am and 9:30.
Me: Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!

*sigh* And he did. D’oh! Well, never mind. The cat was happy that I was awake that early. LOL.

I’m not dead! Really. I’ve

I’m not dead! Really. I’ve just been under the weather, and included in that has been those headaches that get right behind your eyes and do the stabbing pain thing. So that’s meant that spending any time in front of the computer screen has been a bit of a no-no. But it’s not as bad … Continue reading “I’m not dead! Really. I’ve”

So that’s meant that spending any time in front of the computer screen has been a bit of a no-no. But it’s not as bad now, so I shall no doubt be posting ad nauseam again. *g*

And just to get me started again, here’s This or That Tuesday:
1. Paper or plastic?
This is apparently money/credit cards… so paper, since it’s easier to keep track of!
2. Stripes or plaid?
Hmmm….. plaid. Trousers. With chains n stuff.
3. Baseball or football?
Well, neither really. Especially since that’s presumably American football, rather than real football. LOL.
4. TV or movies?
Oooo….. it depends. Both, I guess.
5. Craig Kilborn or Conan O’Brien?
Only very vague about who either of them are. So, neither.
6. Amazon or BN.com?
Amazon.
7. Yahoo or Google?
Goooooooooooooogle.
8. Star Trek or Star Wars?
Trek! But I like Star Wars too.
9. Cats or dogs?
Cats :-)
10. Is that for here or to go?
Eat in. But takeaway can be handy.
