Blah, test, blah. And stuff.

This is just a little test post thingy…. I’m experimenting with the blog-send do-whatsit, where you can specify an email address to have your blog posts mailed to each time you make an update. I’m thinking of using it for the news log thingy on the Spike site, you see.

Self-pimpage, hoorah! Spiked and Skewered has a brand shiny new layout, and a new home as well, at spikedandskewered.com. More Spike-iness than you can wave a pointy wooden thing in the direction of. Oh yes. With more stuff to come in the near future, all going well.

I’ve joined the Middle Earth Blogs and Buffy Blogs webrings, plus the Buffy the Journal Slayer listing. Guess it was about time. I’ve been meaning to join some interest-based blog webrings for about a year now. :-) As per all the others, they’re also listed on the webrings and cliques pages, respectively, as well as in the sidebar here.

I just took the codes for the Webloggers webring and 1% Bloggers webring down, since the first is officially dead, and the second has just vanished off the face of, er, Ringsurf. Noticed because I was just going through editing the info for my rings to go to this new address.

I think I’ll go back to watching Charmed now. Not that I’m lazy, or anything. Um. Though I am actually feeling a bit sleepy. However, I did, for once, get a decent night’s sleep last night, so I’m going to fight it a wee bit longer before crashing out. It’s not helping much that Xandermog is determinedly snoring in his bed, mind you… *g*

Oooo, new design. Very hobbit-y, no? *g* To match the theme of the newly redone main part of the domain, you see. Hoorah!

New layout for NaNoWriMo n stuff. Waddaya think? (Byebye beautiful big scary pumpkin and other Halloween-y things, I loved yooooou).

Halloween design. I’ve come to the conclusion that the reason I redesign this so much in comparison to all my other sites is that (a) it’s a small site, and easy to redesign; and (b) I look at it every damn day, thus causing me to get utterly sick of it much faster than I do the others. I rather like this design, but I won’t be able to get sick of it, I’m sure, since I have to think up something to replace it in a scant couple of weeks after Halloween has been and gone. And pants, I hadn’t thought of that before. Guess I could always go back to the old design. Or something…… gah. Must sleep.

New design. Ta-taaaaaaaah. A bit of a return to graphics. And oh look, yet more blue. Ho hum.

So. 31st August. S&S is supposed to re-open tomorrow. Right now, not looking so good. I’ve actually done most of the ‘big’ stuff, but the ‘little’ stuff has mounted up more than I realised – all these things that I thought ‘Oh, I’ll leave that til Friday, it won’t take long.’ D’oh. And the thing is, I’m so damn tired from working on it til the early hours, then having to get up to go to work. If only I wasn’t working tomorrow! Well, I might get it done – I had hoped to have it open last thing tonight, but I don’t think that’ll happen now. If not, I just hope I can finish it off on Saturday night after work. Meep! I’m so crap at deadlines….

Kaplooey (the Fred site) is now open. Whoohoo! And now it’s to work on S&S. See you in a week or so…….
